"Baton Rouge is a great band that never got big recognition. The wonderful thing about them is their consistency and how different their sound is. You'll love every song on this album. They even cover Alice Cooper's "Loves a Loaded Gun". The songs are classic Baton Rouge style. Each song is unique and pulls it's own weight. The tunes are catchy in the kind of way that sticks in your head long after the album is done playing. They have a diversity of style like Michael Monroe (formerly of Hanoi rocks) or Styx. The lyrics and guitar work are more reminiscent of Loverboy or Foreigner. Throw in a singer who has a vocal range much like Axl Rose of Guns N' Roses and you're starting to get the idea. Baton Rouge does not sound like any of the above mentioned bands, I am using them as a comparison. This album is completely and wonderfully unique, just as their previous two efforts were. If you like classic feel good rock and roll with a metal edge to it then Baton Rouge will not disappoint you. This album is a must!"
