"Barnes & Barnes are best known for novelty songs like "Fish Heads". In 1981, they began recording a "serious" album, which was to be called "Kodovoner" (pronounced "code of honor"). A five song EP called "Soak It Up" was released in 1983, but the "Kodovoner" album was never released, until this CD came out in 2005. The CD beings with the five songs from "Soak It Up", then there are the ten songs from the "Kodovoner" album, followed by nine bonus tracks. These are indeed "serious" songs, but they are just as quirky as their novelty songs. Enjoyable if you like Barnes & Barnes. Here is the track listing:
