CD Reviews

Still Good

"I picked up his first album Domestic Blues several years back after listening to in a record store. About wore it out, really enjoyed the acoustic guitar and mandolin sound mixing folk, country and blues.

Had all but forgotten about Bap until I saw him open up for Mark Knopfler last week. They had his new disc for $15 bucks there and once again I'm wearing it out. Nicely produced mellow blend of original songs that I can't get out on m head. Now I'm gonna have to look for the ones I missed.

Highly recomended!"
Sit back and enjoy!!!

"I feel fortunate to have discovered this artist quite by mistake as the opening act for Mark Knopfler in Philadelphia this past summer. I was imediatly drawn in. The more I heard the better I liked it. After the show I picked up the CD and ironically after a Knopfler concert I listened to "Big Picture" two times on my way home. Starting with the rhythm and vocals on "Rock and roll Heaven" to the mesmerizing vocals on "To Old For Fairy Tales" I was instantly hooked. Not knowing but feeling a familiarity to his voice with Steve Earle, "The Mighty Ocean of Alcohol", I wasn't surprized to learn later the influence Steve Earle had early on in his career. I look forward to the journey through the rest of his work. As one other reviewer stated be careful his sound is addicting."
Love it

"A dear friend, Joe Medwick, musician, music journalist and exec has been telling my husband, Albert Lee, and me about Bap for years-I finally ordered one of his CDs-Albert(and I) were very impressed! Great recording, great songs! Buy it-you won't be disappointed."
