"I'm very fond of most of the material on this CD.
Take a look at the close up of the session notes on the reverse of the L.P. (See the images I photographed from the record of which this CD faithfully preserved all the selections.)
It can be seen that there are a number of recording dates represented and that all the music here doesn't come from a single, original recording.
But it should be noted that their FIRST recording is contained in its entirety here (came out in 1953 as 'The Banjo Kings' Vol. 1), and can be assembled by starting out with Alabamy Bound, Stephen Foster Medley No.1, Hello My Baby!, and That Banjo Rag. (End side one)
Side two begins with The Burglar Buck, Stephen Foster Medley No. 2, Banjo Bounce, and finishes with Pickin'The Banjo. (End side two)
This amazing but short recording was followed up by their second collection of AMERICANA in 1958. It was titled 'Nostalgia Revisited in Hi-Fi', but sadly has not been re-issued on CD. These two recordings mark their best work, in this reviewers opinion."

"This CD totally lived up to my expectations. This is feel good banjo music played by two very talented musicians. I am very happy that this classic album was translated into CD format. [...]"
