CD ReviewsThese are all jams!! Chi-Smitty | Chicago, IL | 11/03/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "Don't know what kind of taste the negative reviewers have, but these are all #1 cuts. Beautiful remake of Alecia Keyes song. I love this CD. I could listen to it over and over again!" 3 of my favorites on 1 project G. Bates | Rockford, IL USA | 12/31/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "Yes...I love all 3 of these artists. Rick Braun and Kirk Whalum have been a round a lot longer than their labelmate (except now Braun and Whalum are both gone from Warner Bros.) Norman Brown. This project has 10 covers of very diverse material. Each artist pays some tribute to a distinguished predecessor with several of the covers and then they all give inspired arrangements of newer tunes. If you don't recognize any of the tunes, then also may not appreciate the sounds. The 3 featured artists are backed by heavyweights too. Legendary keyboardist Ricky Peterson (David Sanborn's guy forever), Chrisitan McBride (the young lion of the bass) and others. All in all, a worthy project with really catching tunes."
