"'Depend On You' is the third german single release by Ayu (Ayumi Hamasaki), following 'Connected' and 'M' respectively. While there are only 2 main mixes of 'depend on you' on this single as compared to the 4 on 'Connected' and the 3 on 'M', this single is still fantastic!



The 2 mixes presented on this single are by Svenson & Gielen and DJ Shog. The 'Svenson & Gielen Radio Edit' is definitely one of the best trance songs i've ever heard. The trance synths are completely amazing and the song is just energetic from beginning to end! The 'DJ Shog Edit' is a more serious sounding trance remix, it starts off rather eerie and then blasts into an urgent beat with a heavy bass line and amazing trance snyth. DJ Shog does an amazing job here. This mix is just plain beautiful! Between the 2 main mixes the DJ Shog mix comes out on top, by a small margin, over the svenson and gielen mix.



The rest of the single is filled with the 'Dj Shog Dub Mix' (an extended and intrumental version of the 'DJ shog edit') , 'Svenson & Gielen Club Mix' (an extended version of the 'Svenson & Gielen Radio edit') and 'Svenson & Gielen Instrumental Mix' (an extended and instrumental version of the 'Svenson & Gielen Radio Edit'). Since the edits were just amazing, these extended versions were very welcome, especially the one for the DJ Shog Mix. Though the lack of different mixes of 'depend on you' was rather disappointing, the 2 provided are both some of the best trance tunes out there and worthy of attention."
