His guitar work is both dark and pasionate with heavy Richie Blackmore and Michael Schenker influences. If you like 80's Metal with a German feel, you will love Axel's work. Great vocals from former Hardline front man Johny Giolli and electric drum work by Jorg Michael make for one tight sounding Metal Machine. I have every cd Axel has put out dating back to his days with Steeler and I am yet to be dissapointed."
