Synopsis

Product Description
The concept for this new album by Argentine maverick musician/composer/singer Axel Krgier was inspired by the French documentary "Lascaux: Le Ciel des Premiers Hommes" (about the famous paleolithic cave paintings). This reflection on the role of human beings in the universe tells the fantastic and hilarious story of a "bigfoot" of the Stone Age that passes through mankind, from prehistoric times to 2.0 times. It's a fantastic and hilarious road movie about the paradoxes of civilisation to which Frenchman Judah Warsky and Argentine Daniel Melingo lent their voices. Musically, it's a kaleidoscope which runs the gamut from a B movie song (title track) to the bluesy dubstep of Invitame, and gives Axel the opportunity to settle old debts with rockabilly (Tiempo y Tierra), western spaghetti music (Mosquito), and even his own past, with references to dance music (Lo Tendré Que Adivinar), or joyful Balkanic atmospheres (Changarín). One notable feature is Axel's confident and evocative singing performances: even if one doesn't understand Spanish, his voice has a narrative quality which irresistibly carries the listener away. This fifth album by Axel Krygier, a man firmly rooted in his era but constantly in motion, once again demonstrates his incredible talent for surprising the listener. As a multi-instrumentalist, composer, singer, producer, songwriter, activist and iconoclast, he is a central and totally atypical figure of the Argentine music scene, and has already written music for many feature films, albums, plays and dance performances. It should also be noted that Axel designs his own record sleeves and directs his own music videos.
