True Tejano/Chicano music

"If you wanted to hear the way Tejano music is supposed to sound, you need this CD. Avizo's Horn section with a light mix of accordion makes for great music reminiscent of Tejano legends like Little Joe, Sunny Ozuna and the Latin Breed. Avizo brings in elements of all the music that has influenced what Tejano is; rock, r&b, South Texas Conjunto, big band....with some solid tributes to other Latin traditions like Salsa and Mambo.

An All-Star lineup of guest vocals including Jay Perez, Ruben Ramos, Little Joe, Jessy Serrata, Augustin Ramirez and David Marez are outstanding, but Avizo's very own Tracy Perez takes a back seat to nobody, as her songs may be the best. "Nunca Jamas" and "Corazon de Piedra" are two of the best Tejano songs of 2005."
