"Auto Escape is my favorite band. I saw them live and they totally blew me away. This CD is so amazing, I listen to it all the time. Auto Escape is the perfect mix of rock, emo, indie, and probably some other stuff I don't know the words for, but they're different from the stuff I hear everywhere else. The lyrics are poetic and deep, the music is has driving rhythms/melodies & tunes.



The album consists of five songs: "White Roses", "Backseat Driver", "Falling Asleep in the Snow", "Not What I Had in Mind", and "Turn It Off". My favorites are "White Roses" and "Falling Asleep in the Snow".



The vocals (by Donnie DeBoer) are pure perfection, and the instrumentals are rocking. They combine guitars, drums, and a few stanzas on the keyboard... I'm not really musical-instrumentally intelligent, but I do know it sounds amazing. The other band members, Matt Melton, Grant Pittman, and Nathie DeBoer, are suberb.
