I do however love a wide variety of music. I discovered Astralasia through their Hawkwind remixes and found something there for me.To me there are 2 Astralasia's.. one a straight ahead Trance band sounding no different than any other remix band/dj with thudding rhythms. Then there is a band who mix trance, ambient, psychadelic and ethnic sounding influences producing a varied emotive trip. This CD is far and away the best of the latter style and indeed the best cd in this genre Ive heard.Shame you cant hear the last 2 tracks in the samples.. because the last 2 tracks on the album are mesmeric soundscapes which brought me to tears of joy the first time I heard them. Track 1 gives you an idea. Incidentally Im not alone in saying that!I just can't recommend this CD too highly.. buy it and enjoy."
