The Wheel Keeps on Rolling!

"This is the Asleep at the Wheel's "NEW" live CD & IMHO superior to the prior one Live @ Arizona Charlie's from a number of years back.
The crowd at Billy Bob's really get into the Wheel's 16 song set on
this CD. What I really like are the 6 new cuts the Wheel has added to their song selection, One Six Pack to Go (Hank Thompson), Hang Up My Spurs & Saddle, Don't Fence Me In, Before the Next Teardrop Falls (Freddy Fender) Amarillo By Morning (Geo. Strait) & If I Needed You (Townes Van Zandt) plus Cotton Eyed Joe. Once again Ray Benson highlights the talents of his fiddle player Jason Roberts. A DVD of this concert will be released shortly. Hopefully in 2004 the Wheel will put out a studio CD with 100% western swing cuts they have never recorded before. Also check out Ray Benson's solo effort "Beyond Time", just great!"
