"First thing that annoyed me: "Massachusetts" is misspelled everywhere on the CD. Second thing (sorry, we have to get past the annoyances first): it's an audience recording. "Live in Buffalo" is superior audially, since it's a board recording, but the performance is tired, considering the show was the band's 11th in as many days. "Live in Mass" finds the group in top form. Wetton's voice is outstanding, and instrumentally they barely miss a lick. Once you get past some of the audience noise on this CD and concentrate on the great songs, it's almost easy to dim the lights, pop a beer, flick your Bic and voila -- it's 1983 again."
