Synopsis

Album Description
Perfecto Records/Studio K7 follow its hugely successful Paul Oakenfold mix compilations with a 2 CD's of original Arthur Baker productions, entitled 'Breakin'. The project comprises of 2 different CDs-New Skool and Old Skool. The 1st features 16 collaborations/ remixes with a stellar array of current luminaries ranging from Armand Van Helden and Utah Saints to DJ Face and Felix Da Housecat. Check out the wicked reworking of Timo Maas' 'Der Shieber', and Oakenfold's latest assault on 'Planet Rock'. The 2nd CD, straps on its battered old Adidas shell toes for a breakdance back in time with nostalgic brew of classic Baker productions including New Order's 'Confusion', Criminal Element Orchestra's 'Put The Needle On The Record', plus the legendary 'Planet Rock'!

"Arthur Baker is a legend and has collaborated well on this album to bring you 77.51 minutes of supercharged funky beats on disc 1
Personally as you can tell I love it and I can provide you with names of others....no problem!A very happy get down funky cd.
Disc 2 is back to the old school the tunes that the tunes of today developed from, obviously they are going to sound dated that's because they are, but remember these are the originals and probably hard to find if you tried. Get it while you can."
