"If you want a real taste of Cuban folkloric music, this is the album for you. The beautiful blend of harmonizing vocals, authentic guitar and percussive instruments, with compelling melodies is great!!! My personal favorites are "Ella Eres Tu" (slow start and progressively increasing tempo...great for dancing) and "Ahinamaa."



This is a great introduction to a very talented band. You can expand your collection of latin music with this."

"The acoustic string sound of the violin an guitars that permeate this record will be very pleasing to those who like a folksy sound instead of phrentic "salsa" production music (not meant to knock that genre). For those who are exploring the Cuban music craze, try this group out. Their later work has attracted more attention, but this one is on par with that. Of particular interest to BVSC fans is the version of Chan Chan."
