Synopsis

Album Description
Full title - Everything Waits To Be Noticed. Japanese edition of 2002 album includes a bonus track 'Perfect Moment' (Acoustic Version). As half of Simon & Garfunkel & as a solo act he has sold millions of records. 'Everything Waits To Be Noticed', a wholly new experience that, in the words of Jann Wenner 'combines elements of everything from the surging folk-pop of Buckingham/Nicks-era Fleetwood Mac to the crisp folk-rock sorcery of the Mamas & the Papas to the deft vocal-jazz direction of the Manhattan Transfer. But, above all, a startlingly original chemistry'.

I'm So Glad I Noticed
D. J. Kopacz | ST CHARLES, MO United States | 03/04/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I looked at this because of Art Garfunkel, as I have always found his solo recordings pleasurable. I bought this after listening to a few snippets of the tunes available because I liked the general tone of the pieces. I enjoy it for those two reasons, but wasn't expecting the overwhelming satisfaction I've gotten from this CD. I'd never heard the other two performers before, and am glad I've found two "new" (for me, anyway) musicians. I've since purchased all three of Maia Sharp's available recordings. Buddy Mondlock's "The Kid" is a delightful song, and the lyrics remind me of days passed. It was also a treat getting some of Art's own work for the first time. Several of the numbers evoke vivid visual experiences for me. I haven't felt this good about something relatively new in a long time. I'd love to hear another effort from these three folks."
