CD ReviewsHot but the missing links are painfully obvious Pana | Denver, CO United States | 10/23/2001 (4 out of 5 stars) "The Arsonists have been one of my favorite groups for a long time. they enjoyed somewhat more commercial success than some of their other "underground" counterparts, yet still managed to walk the fine line between the two without crossing over. With that said, Date of Birth is just about as tight as it could have been with two of the strongest members (freestyle and D-Stroy) gone. So some of the lyrical prowess is absent this time around, but the remaining Arsonists still manage to hold together that head noddin flavor we all have been missin since "As the World Burns." So go out and cop the album and pray that there wont be a reunion because as the beatnuts would say, "Se Acabo!" for a lot of these mediocre cats out today." SO VICIOUS N.
