Anders is able to get the widest range of colors I have ever heard on the guitar, and this fits Ravel's music perfectly. For example, listen to "Laideronette, imperatrice des pagodas" from "Ma Mere I'Oye" to hear sounds from the guitar that you wouldn't think were impossible to make, especially at the end of the piece. Anders has a grasp of this music like no one else. The ebb and flow of the music together with its constantly shifting colors will send you to a different state of mind and world. The instruments he plays are beautiful and the recorded sound is superb. DON'T MISS THIS ONE!"
