I can tell you.. with all these years i've been listen to trance, (i started with expedition by sasha & digweed unlike many of those that began acquainted with trance after the alice dejay radio hit 'better off alone'.. or darude's sandstorm,) yes, there are very good quality trances like tranceport by okenfold was good, expeditions by sasha and digweed was inspirational like ibiza & san francisco also very top notch, tiesto's summerbreeze is superb, ..dj dean's networx cd's awesome for those who like fast german techno.. BUT i 've never heard something like this i mean, RIGHT now Armin he is at the top of the game , he is by far better than tiesto, ferry corsten, oakenfold, van dyke, etc... going back to the CD, listen to CD 2 from the start till end and u know what im talking about.... it will make ur feel like when u were a little child, and dreamed about flying, endles journeys.. i listened to him live at dance department 4-07-01... i think that live set was the best trance i 've hear and will be the sound that u will be hearing for a while" Van Buurn is so good, other djs try and copy him! I have heard a lot of Oakenfold and seen him live, and Oakenfold does not come close to Armin Van Buuren's love for music that shows in his albums. Armin's style is deep & passionate. His mixes are so smooth that you won't know that the track has changed!! Buy each and every CD from Armin and you won't regret it!! Armin, alongwith DJ Tiesto, Sasha & John Digweed, Acid Rockers, Timo Maas, Satoshie Tomiie, Future Sound Of London, Yahel, Delirium, etc. are some of the artists that I try to emulate and learn from. Armin Van Buuren is a great friend of DJ Tiesto, and both of them have done a lot of production and DJing together. They go by many names such as "MAJOR LEAGUE" and "KAMAYA PAINTERS" (Kamaya Painters consists of DJ Tiesto & MB De Goeij). Armin also goes by Perpetuos Dreamer, Gimmick, Rising Star, Gaia, Darkstar, Wodka Wasters, Gig, Red & White, Amsterdance, The Shoeshine factory, Hyperdrive Inc., Armania, Alibi, Problem Boy, Electrix, etc. He prolly makes up new ones every day.
