"I hear right now for first time My Propeller, wooooow, that is the style of song that I love and miss from the old bands... wow! amazing song, the guitar chords and details, the voice! wow great!

I still dont hear the other songs but I want buy it! the other 2 albums of AM are great but I like more the last shadow of puppets..."

Growing pains

"This is very different with a tinge of "difficult third album" syndrome. Turner's singing style has changed significantly, heavily influenced by QOTSA, and I can hear The Doors, PJ Harvey and Morrissey influences all over this record.

It's a a sombre, darker album. Lyrically still impressive, but difficult to follow.

It will be interesting to see where they go next, but it seems the Arctic Monkeys are growing up. Early fans may well be alienated, but they may attract new ones.
