CD ReviewsLive apes clawing at my face 06/07/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "Wonderful EP. On par with Street Warz from a few years back. The Apes is really one-upping the song writing here, as these tracks seem to take on an almost twisted, 70s horror quality (hanging mages, blind weavers, changlings and such). The In-between instrumentals are spot-on and the whole bloody thing really whets my appetite for a new long player. (...)-slappin bass; crazed, freeze-dried organ riffs; booming drums from back in time; and wicked vocal effects all equal a truly rip-roaring effort from these DC-tribesman (and woman)."
