Synopsis

Product Description
Single song CD Lyn Chaffee was a 21 year breast cancer survivor and in September of 2003 was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. In a month she was gone. I'm her brother, the oldest of six. With Christmas around the corner, I knew the heartache would be overwhelming. As the words poured out on paper, I discovered the spirit of the song not only played out poignantly in relation to Lyn's passing, but also touched on a universal theme. I couldn't help but think of all the families that find themselves separated during this special time that's really meant to bring folks together. The song, although sad at the beginning, closes in an uplifting, inspirational fashion, saying no one is really missing at Christmas. Our loved ones are right here in our hearts. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this song will be donated to various breast cancer foundations

CD Reviews

Someone Is Missing At Christmas
Teressa D. Warren | 07/11/2006
(4 out of 5 stars)

"This song means alot to me. It makes me think of my father who passed away in 1986 and my step dad who passed away in 2002. They both loved Christmas and it says in the song, they aren't very far, they still live within my heart and I will see them both in heaven one day."
Not Really Missing
Grace | Indiana | 10/21/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This song starts out on a sad note, but in the end tells us that even though our loved ones presence may be physically missing, they never really are. It expresses the emotion that they really are always with us, in our hearts in our thoughts and in our prayers. Even though the song brings a tear to my eye, I know that my mom is always with me and always will be. Anne Cochran is a very talented and beautiful singer who brings this song to life. John Chafee made an excellent choice when he hand picked Anne to sing this beautiful song as a tribute to his sister and all the loved ones out there who will be "missing" at Christmas."
