THE Christmas album!!

"I have always been a fan of Art Garfunkels.I have not always cared for all of his solo work,however.Some of it seemed a little lightweight."The Animals Christmas"is in my opinion,his very best work.It showcases his velvety smooth tenor voice that is perfectly suited to the imaginative music of Jimmy Webb's score.The lyrics are reverential to the subject and offer the message of Christ's birth in a most interesting way.The amazing track"The carol of the birds"is the most joyous and declaritive Christmas anthem I have heard outside of Handels "Messiah"!!It is great news that this album is once again available-now everybody click on the purchase button and BUY it!"

"I first listened to this when it was originally released- it haunts me still. Jimmy Webb's powerful storytelling talent is at it's peak with this one. How many people can make you cry when they write tunes about frogs, and camels, and even the cat who lived at the inn? It has an ephemeral innocence, with a dark side that peeks through. Don't miss this one!"
