"The original ANIMALS recorded only two studio albums.What a shame!As composers,they could not compete with THE BEATLES,THE ROLLING STONES and THE KINKS,but for covering the soul and blues classics they were the best.Many songs by CHUCK BERRY,RAY CHARLES,BO DIDDLEY and JOHN LEE HOOKER were part of their repertoire.Here we have the complete second album ,originally called ANIMAL TRACKS with a few added tracks.This cd offers an other recording of WE GOTTA GET OUT OF THIS PLACE that was only in a FRENCH EP in 1965.Call it nostalgia if you want,THE ANIMALS with the best singer of BRITISH rock in ERIC BURDON still delivers the goods.If you are looking for your girlfriend,she is probably spending your money at the CLUB A-GO-GO because she found out that this cd is sold at a better price in another store."
