Anthology, is a superb intro., into the undisputed genius of this great , great English singer-songwriter!!!Truly , from the late 60's/early 70's onwards , Andy was one of the 'quintissential genius's of the genre!This double c.d. release, on c.d., is a must for all appreciaters of classic (English)singer-songwriting1Andy's voice was always so unique and distiguished, his songs often very haunting &truly memorable.Like Roy Harper(GENIUS), & the great Nick Drake, Andy Roberts was/is a true, true genius at his art.

In the 70's , Andy teamed up with the talented Iain Matthews, to produce the legendary band..Plainsong.."Amelia Earheart"..what a grrrerat album!!

Here, on this compilation double disc, we see the variety & exceptional talent Andy had, for great material..john the revelator, Keep my children warm(beautiful!), Nina & the dream tree(my favourite)..e.t.c., e.t.c....all the songs here are excellent!!My only complaint , is please, please, Andy, get a release , on c.d. , for the incredible"Urban Cowboy"...still my favourite Andy Roberts album..an absolute beaut.!!!!Also, "The Great Stampede", another remarkable solo album!!
