"You must buy this album. It is fantastic! And after you buy this one and fall in love with it like I know you will, you must go back and get The Way Home... and go out and see him live and pick up a copy of Ghosts. Andrew and the Prospects are an amazing group of musicians. I know you will agree. I'm his #1 fan!!!!! :)"

Incredibly innovative and unique talent

"I went to see another artist at a Philadelphia area club in December, and had the good fortune to see Andrew Lipke and his band as the headlining act. I was blown away by Andrew's songwriting, singing, and musicianship. His entire band is exceptional, and includes a drummer that is incredibly fast (but crisp and clean), and a cellist named Krista who pushes the boundaries of the cello as a rock instrument. I've seen him perform two other times since then, and each show was great. His love of music and appreciation of his audience was very evident.

Andrew has the ability to do slow, introspective ballads and powerful rock songs (such as Mind Games) with equal effectiveness. His prior albums The Way Home and Ghosts (which Lipke produced and played all the instruments) are also terrific. Despite his talent, he is a very humble person and easy to approach and talk to. With the proper exposure and a big break or two, Lipke has the potential to be one of the most influential musicians to come out of Philadelphia in a long time."
