CD ReviewsThe best punk band you've never heard EJ | Iowa | 08/28/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "The lack of attention American Steel gets outside of the punk scene blows my mind. These guys have a big, burly sound, massive hooks and lyrics that are witty, emotional and intelligent. This is the kind of music I like to save for a solitary car ride so I can holler along at the top of my lungs. "Dear Friends and Gentle Hearts" is the band's latest success; it's at least as good as their excellent previous effort, "Destroy Their Future." These guys deserve some major props."
