"I first got this album on vinyl in 1987 along with "Do Their Thing" and the "Moving Sidewalks" album,(a true fan!!).When I listened to it it was not what I expected-more 13th Floor Elevators and psychedelic than any ZZ recording.But there is the hint of blues in 'Mercury Blues",a small hint of what was to come later.All the albums are of similar quality,sound and music wise,so they are more of a curiosity than anything else.I like them because of that.Lets hope they release the other two albums I have as I only have VERY old cassette tapes since the stereo died about ten or more years ago!!!"
