Alyanya Massey is a singer/songwriter and artist born and raised in Dublin. The two great loves of her life are music and painting; her career plan simple and soul felt, to share her music with the world. She is a self-taught musician who began playing piano at the age of seven and later went on to the guitar. She studied singing at Ireland's leading jazz academy, Newpark College of Music. Alyanya also attended Dun Laoghaire College of Art and Design and is an accomplished artist. Introduced to the music scene as lead singer of the jazzy/groove-based band Scrybe, Alyanya next embarked on a solo career writing and performing her own songs. This journey to date has seen her tour Ireland, Belgium, Holland and Australia. Alyanya was support act to Luka Bloom for his Irish and European tour.
