The most beautif ul song I have ever heard, "Never Was" is on this album and it doesn't lose anything in the recording. Onstage she has that amazing presence and ability. Once, in the middle of a song, her D string snapped and she looked right at the audience and said, "Nonessential" and just kept playing.She's frankly rather unclassifiable. Mostly folk, I guess, but not like any folk you've ever heard before. She blends everything under the sun into her music.BUY THIS CD. NOW. I GUARANTEE YOU'LL LOVE IT."
