Dear Listeners, You can't get much closer to my heart than The Great Room. Here is a private person inviting you in. I composed these thirteen tracks in the great room of my home. In the daytime, sunlight poured through the windows, lighting up the pine walls and oak floors. At night, moonlight illuminated the piano keys. There seemed no better space for Wachusett Records and I to capture our first acoustic album. Our goal? Warmth and intimacy. We want your listening experience to feel as authentic as possible. As though you're in the great room with me, enjoying your own private concert. The Great Room represents a time when I strove to make sense of various heartaches, to extract courage from fear and certainty from doubt.
