"...which is what my wife and I did as we put on this CD and sat down to a simple but delicious meal at home. The sinuous, expressive cello and the lovely piano accompaniment was the perfect recipe for a musical entree that would go down easily with or without a glass of Italy's finest. The music of Alfredo Piatti was new to us and we look forward to hearing more. The liner notes provided interesting background about the cellist, the pianist and the composer. A most satisfying treat."
