Smith | Texas Hill Country, United States | 03/18/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "It's always difficult to find good symphonic band recordings, and rarer to find good recordings of music composed specifically for symphonic bands. To have discovered the six volume recordings by the 20th century king of symphonic band composers is nirvana. The Otonowa Wind Symphonica is magnificent, a true pleasure to hear. I'd always enjoyed El Camino Real, but this is the first time I've heard the Divertimento for Flute and Winds. It's quite pleasant to listen to at work, as are the Armenian Dances and Praise Jeruselem. This is one of our favorites at work."
