"I don't own the CD, I am still playing the LP -- this disc is amazing, with grippers on it that are right in the core of my bones; all I have to do is think of any of the musicians on this disc, the likes of which include Robert Plant (LedZep) and the sound of the whole album comes rushing to mind. Remember Led Zep's live "You Shook Me" off Blueberry hill? Imagine that same intensity scaled into a club like the Marquee -- it's from these tapes that you can see the raw power of early British Blues before it got all shiny and polished to death by EMI and Decca's wunderkind creations (aka the Beatles and the Stones). This is where the blues rips your skin, where even a lone 6-string guitar shreds any stack of Marshalls. Add in the Kohner horn-section, and you've got a Sunrise you're going to ache about for the rest of your life. This is where it all began."
