"Ok, longtime Alex fans, I'm a newbie but better late than never! A neighborhood friend who was a big brother to me (and a total jazz head) told me about Alex when I was in high school, when he debuted in the late '80s. I didn't start checking out jazz 'til my college days so I didn't follow Alex's career much (was following Joe Sample and others), but I would always hear about his performances at various venues. I'm going to see Alex again soon so I finally decided to check out all his stuff on Rhapsody. GEEZ, I have a lot of catching up to do as far as purchasing, EVERY LAST ONE OF HIS CD'S IS HOTTT!!! To the newbies, check out more of his stuff, you won't be disappointed. I certainly wasn't!! An old/new fan..."
