The timbre and warmness of her voice in this album is remarkable as is the quality of the recording. I do not speak the language in which Alcione sings but I discovered her wonderful voice on a samba track of a mixed CD some years ago and have been an avid fan ever since. I simply love her soulful interpretation of songs (I read the lyric translations) and of course, her amazing voice! Definitely a 'feel good' CD, almost like being at a party! This is my 'best' CD for quite a few years."
