"This is a World Premiere recording of a complete rendition of Isaac Albeniz music drama. It is sung in English as it was intended. Conducted by Jose de Eusebio, leading the Orquesta Sinfonica de Madrid, I found everything What I look for in opera; the lyricism is Verdinesque, lending rich, lush and romantic orchestration to support the text and finally there is strong Wagnerian-like passages to reinforce the more dramatic elements given this opera a unique musical depth. This a wonderful opera that contains moving melodies accompanied by solid and rich orchestral flourishes troughout. I listened this opera for the first time and likened from the outset. As for the singing it is solid and expressive. It is always reason to celebrate when a lost work is introduced. In this case Isaac Albeniz "Henry Clifford" is definitelly worth owning. I listen to it often for its moving melodic score and strongly recommend this opera to all opera lovers."
