CD Reviews

Excellent and Influencial House - Must have for fans DAFT PU
Carlos Dominicis | Miami, FL | 06/14/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"The Upper Cuts - whose awesome album cover is actually designed by one half of super popular French duo Justice - is an amazingly consistent house record that should be in the library of any house music fan.

Elegant and not very showy - the synths on this record are extremely subtle and may even take a few listens to really sink in. There's only one bad track on the album (a rap track that really doesn't fit) and the rest is really gold.

They sound like Daft Punk minus the fanfare and peaks. Beautiful culmination of the French touch and a great intro to those looking to study the sound that made Ed Banger and Kitsune what they are today."
Pure Class - Buy it

"This is the CD i have been waiting for. If you like Daft Punk like i do, especially their second album then this is a must buy.

Every track bar track 11 (a rap) is top drawer.

Most famous tracks are "the music sounds better than you" which everyone knows, and "Rubicon", although every track especially first 10 are amazing

Trust me!!!"
