CD Reviews

One of ATP's best, but BUYER BEWARE!!!!

"Man's Ruin Records put this out and has sadly gone out of busniess making this disc harder and harder to find. Also, they distributed a large number of this title which were defective discs (i.e. the packaging said it was ATP-Constellation, but the music on the disc was actually ATP-River City Revival).
Both are great albums, but RCR is only 7 songs and Constellation is 14 (and a much better slab of meat!)
Make sure your seller cracks this open to see if it's the real deal.
stonerrockdotcom has a few left if you want a bonefide new one."

"Buy this cd and "turn it up!" (thanks Ronnie). Okay, that being said...It's difficult to classify this new release from Man's Ruin Records. It's not Stoner, not Hardcore, not OTT ("Over The Top" for you non-Motorhead fans, and not Southern Rock. But combine all the above throwing in a couple of kegs of Miller beer for flavor and you've got Alabama Thunder Pussy sound. In your face bass and drums really anchor the sound. Suprisingly tasty melodies too boot! Thoroughly enjoyed this cd on the first listen and it keeps getting better with every listen! Would be a definite five star cd if the lead guitarist wasn't on holiday. I kept hearing top volume guitar riffs and solos in my head; Ya' know the Funhouse era Stooges or even vintage Leslie West sound? Yet they were suprisingly absent. Overall a welcome addition to my Man's Ruin collection that won't be eatin' dust anytime soon. Buy this cd!"
