CD Reviews

A must have for Al Di Meola fans!

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I owned "Cielo e Terra" and "Soaring through a Dream" on vinyl. I could not get these on CD until now. I was thrilled to see that these were available. This music takes you to places that only Al Di Meola can go. While I own most all of Al Di Meola's recordings, these are some of my favorite; especially when I want to escape to some far away place in my mind. If this is the first time that you have heard these recordings, it may take a couple of listenings for you to appreciate the depth and complexity. I still hear new sounds and phrases in the songs even after listening to them for years. For me, that is what makes a great recording timeless. Also, Tirami Su is included in this set. Certainly a change of pace from the previously mentioned records, and equally as awesome. One final note: If you ever have a chance to see him perform live, don't miss it."
