CD Reviews

What metalcore should be.

"This is an ascension of metalcore, hardcore and death metal in a perfect unification. Every song has been perfectly crafted on this album. Steve Taylor shows his great vocal range from hitting black metal style notes to soft melodic notes. The riffs stab your ears with a musical mathmatical timed chaos. Anyone into haste the day, my chemical romance & demon hunter will most definitely call Across Five Aprils their new weapon of choice. I cannot tell you how much this album is a must have for any metalcore fan."

"Across Five Aprils the best emocore band ever. With "A Tragedy In Progress", AFA blend beautiful singing and great screaming with melodic yet brutal breakdowns. They are in a class by themselves. All eleven actual songs on this disc are in their own way a masterpiece. Just when you think the song will stay soft a heavy breakdown encompasses you. If you have never heard Across Five Aprils right now is the time to do so. Go pick up this emocore work of art."
