CD Reviews

Pump the rhythym, pump up the jam....

"Mr Aceyalone, Accompanied by Abstract Rude, as they take you through a lesson of Hiphop history. For background info, Aceyalone has been putting a dent into the LA's Hiphop scene for over a decade, and when Abstract rude met Fat Jack (producer) near the project Blowed (an open mic workshop formerly the goodlife cafe), they knew bigger things would come. Abstract Rude and Aceyalone started to collab, and whammoooo! The first A-team recording, "who Framed The A-team?" had some sure gems, and was overall so dope it gave me the chills. This new album starts off with a catchy song, "Pump up the Jam" which features only Ab. He speaks of how people want him and ace to repeat what they did on the last album, and the song is near perfect! Then, him and ace come off on "Show Em A Better Way", which in my opinion is one of the best songs they've ever done.Almost every track on this album is superb, and it features guests from australia, which might seem farfetched but it works.
Other standout tracks are: What Time Is It, GB in Your Life, and others.Purchase this album if you want to listen to a legendary duo, which has completed another excellent hiphop album for all of the TRUE hiphop heads to bump!"

"This is a dope album. Acey and Ab are flowin' like they do best, and in my oppinion better than ever. Some tracks have a few cats from Australia on them. But it's all gravy. I think it's tighter than the first A-Team album and I recommend it to any underground hip hop head."
