CD Reviews

Welcome Back A-HA!

"What a great return after 7 years! This CD Single, first off of their new album "Minor Earth/Major Sky", is a definite must have for any A-HA fans. With the superb orchestration of Pal Waaktaar-Savoy and Magne Furuholmen to Morten Harket's sublime vocals it's excellent. Listen for Morten's long held note in the title track. Don't wait any longer buy it and "Minor Earth/ Major Sky" now! Viva A-HA!"
Current after all this time...

"I discovered this single six years after its release, and it was released 7 years since their previous studio work ("Memorial Beach"). Yet in 2006, "Summer Moved On" by A-Ha sounds as current today as it did back then. Good music ages well, and the work the "Take On Me" folks from Norway did here is great proof of that. They released a new album ("Analogue") in 2005, also worth checking out."

"I am so glad that a-ha has reappeared. The radio edit and album edit of "Summer Moved On" are very melodic, beautiful and just so a-ha. Thought provoking stuff. The C.L.A.S.S. mix has a sort of laid back devil-may-care feel to it as does "Barely Hanging On." Morten Harket's voice seems to have matured with a raspy wisdom behind. It's beautiful."
