Product Description
Mountain Homegrown Volume 5 showcases 11 Denver area bands performing Led Zeppelin covers. Many of the songs are done in the full length, radio-hostile, 5-6 minute long versions, which is a welcome change of pace.

The quality of the productions is top notch and the quality of the performances is excellent. Machine Gun Blues starts it off right with a blazing version of "Communication Breakdown." Then, Savage Henry offers up a by the numbers rendition of "Fool In The Rain." Something Underground's "Kashmir" kicks ass. Dave Beegle plays a faithful instrumental on "The Rain Song." Opie Gone Bad puts a funky twist on "Black Dog." Drug Under shreds perfectly on "Living Loving Maid (She's Just a Woman)." Melissa Ivey & The Gentlemen calms things down and heats them back up again on "What Is and What Should Never Be." Green Street Majority sounds like they stepped right out of the 1970s on "Immigrant Song." Danny Masters Band tears it up on "Since I Been Loving You." A Melodic Daydream, a two piece act, does "Thank You" very nicely. GoGoLab finishes it out with a creative techno version of "The Ocean."
