Drew | Back East, USA | 03/07/2009 (4 out of 5 stars) "For some reason, there is a link to Shooting Star here (hey Amazon, may want to fix that!). As for 707, I vividly recall Megaforce which was a great album that featured Kevin Chalfont on vocals. This is their first work where guitar hero unknown, Kevin Russell, does most of the vocals. Some solid work here.
From the first album, most everyone has heard "I Could Be Good For You" at one time or another. I like the bright spots on their second album such as "Pressure Rise", "Live Without Her", and "Tonite's Your Nite". This was released as a two on one CD back in 1998 by Renaissance so that is the CD to find if you can get it. 707 is another of the lists of bands that had a shot but just couldn't get their due. Kevin Russell is a very sought after session guitarist and he can rock." |
