A great violin player

"I must say that I love this cd very much especially the sonata no. 3 which this partner has played with ease and technical excellency. It is a pity that a great violinist like Mr. Rosand cannot spend more time performing in Asia. I hope that he will come to Hong Kong again, perhaps, after his retirement."

"Rosand was always a humble violinist, most that you ever imagine. But the refined eloquence and warm playing makes of him one of the most sublime violin players of the last Century. His exquisite and sweeping phrasing literally overwhelmed the audience. His charisma was undeniable, he never sinned of bombastic or hyper sensationalist.

His Brahms breathes noblesse and profound humanity. It is A warm reading with that lyrical vein so characteristic of the spiritual ?lan of the Hamburg ` son.

Nevertheless, you should not miss this album.
