Bluesy Rock at its best!

"This is a fantastic album filled with everything that makes a debut great: groovy guitar riffs, hair-raising drum beats and intense vocals. My favorite song on the whole album, "22 Days", had me enraptured from the first few catchy guitar hooks and Martin Timble's blues-inspired wails. "Shoot Your Gun" is another tune which has the most simple yet mesmerizing drum beat and guitar riff. "Oh, baby, won't you cry?" you can't help but holler along with Martin's voice, dripping with emotion. I first heard the song on a 'Best Of XFM Sessions 2004' CD, and to tell you the truth, it didn't appeal to me at all throughout my first few listens. However, after I listened to the full debut album, I started to love it.

The only song that I was truly disappointed with was "Friends". Way too folk/country inspired for the rest of this album and should have been replaced with either of the two GREAT other tracks I came accross, "Messed Up" and "Images of You". I came accross those two songs online and loved both instantly, leaving me to wonder why they were left out from the rest of the album.

All in all, this is an awesome debut and I can't wait to hear more from these guys!"

"You've got to run to read this! Then run to buy it

If you like good old rock n' roll like the Cream or Ten Years After or even the Rolling Stones so there is the first modern band to be good enough and playin' like if they were in 71 .

But this is modern rock too, if u like the jon spencer blues explosion or the black keyes ...those guys have the fire in them...the play on some songs a sort of hypnotic high-level blues ("why don't you do it for me?") or even good old hard rock (70's hard rock naturally in "22 days")

For me this is the best new band of the year with a different sort of band called Kasabian...just run to see the return of the blues hard rock return...with some folky ballads in it too!
