"This is unique in the instruments played and the players, a union of Berliners after the reunification. Headed by Andrea Blau, its artistic director and principal flutist of the Berlin Philharmonic, it is composed of all types of flutes, including new contrabass flute and subcontrabass flute, which are mind blowing to see on the cover photo (looking like giant triangles). The music this choir puts out is just exquisite, from selections by such as Ravel, Saint-Saens, Bizet, Bernstein. My favorite is just a delightful suite by Bizet "L'Artesienne-Suite." All is just magnificent and engaging to listen to."
